  1. I have learned so much by attending the Expo over the years and look forward to the fabulous shopping opportunity.

  2. I fell in love with sewing when I was 13, and I sewed a lot. But later, wanting a nicer machine and being unable to afford one, sewing fell by the wayside. Last year I bought a “used-but-new-to-me” very nice machine and I am happily sewing up a storm!! I am so looking forward to this show, and I would love to WIN this package!! Thank you for the opportunity!!

  3. Im looking forward to seeing the creative displays. I was blown away last year. I hope that it happens again. It really gets my creative juices going.

  4. I have never been to a Sewing & Quilt Expo and would love to go. My daughter (who is a high school senior) and I are planning a trip to the Chicago area to go “Prom” dress shopping that week as it is her Spring break, so to stop by the Sewing Expo would be a bonus on my part. I love sewing – I make her Western show clothes for her horse shows, also period clothes for re-enacting the early 1800”s in Ohio and a few things in between. I am working on my first 2 quilts including a t-shirt quilt for her. Can”t wait to hear from you:)

  5. Wow! Anyone who attends any Original Sewing and Quilt Expo is blessed with new knowledge, friendship, and wonderful new tools of the trade to purchase.

  6. There is noting so inspiring as seeing what other people are creating. Would love to win this package.

  7. I have gone to the expo for years… always guaranteed to get my sewing “bug” reactivated. The shopping is divine, too!

  8. This is the first time I will attend as a retired person. I am so excited to see what I can learn for new projects.

  9. I am sewing and quilting again after many years of raising children and taking care of other people. I just found out about the Expo and am so excited. I can”t wait to go.

  10. This will be my first sewing/quilting expo and I am very excited to be able to attend this event.

  11. Super excited to attend my first expo this year. I can relate to many of the comments left by prior posters… the biggest one being needing a new machine. Hoping to find a really good deal at the expo!

  12. I just began sewing a little over a year ago and I made some fairly good projects. I am hoping to learn more so I can make clothes for my son and my unborn child. Also I have been watching some YouTube videos to help with easy sew projects. Before last year the last time I sewed anything was in 1997 when I was in 7th grade. Can”t wait for the expo.

  13. Can”t wait for this year”s Expo to see what”s new and to get ideas and learn new techniques.

  14. Love the anticipation leading up to the expo, the thrill and excitement of seeing so many creative projects and learning new techniques, and then the lingering inspiration that the expo provides…Truly a highlight of the year.

  15. I watch for the show every year, this will be my third year attending . Just gave my brochure to my sewing teacher at Viking , she is new to town and was very happy to hear about the show.

  16. The Sewing and Quilting Expo has been a great place for me to learn more about garment construction and embellishments. I am now 29, and I have been going to the Expo since 2007. Sometimes, if I can get time off work, I stay at the hotel and make a weekend out of it. Some classes that I have taken over the years are: buttonholes, knitting, crochet 101, serger 911, fleece trio, necklace design, yappy hour, e-reader sleeve, embroidery essentials, paintstick, and quilted cosmetic bag.The make-it, take-it projects I”ve made are awesome too: coin purse, tissue holder, dyed lace, coaster, tea towel, cell phone case, spiral bracelet, and angel pins. I highley recommend the Expo, you can learn a variety of skills and the instructors are amazing. I hope to see you there!

  17. I would really love to attend the expo this year. I did get a chance to stop by the Tinley park expo. Love it! Please pick me.

  18. I teach sewing but I look forward to attending the Expo to learn more (or re-learn, lol). The vibe at the Expo is always great and I truly believe that sewists are the nicest people ever.

  19. Love the show wait for it to come every year! Would love to win and attend more than 1 class.

  23. I”ve only been able to attend one of these Expos and would really like to go to this one. I”ve never taken any quilting class, so that would be awesome. Thanks for the opportunity.

  25. I am so looking forward to the Expo: beautiful quilts and lots of inspiration! I took Debbi Kratovil”s class No Sneeky Peek last time the show was at Schaumburg and totally enjoyed it. Hoping to take a class this year as well. See you there!

  26. I like that I can drive to this Sewing Show, and the variety it offers in Sewing, not just quilting.

  27. I love this show. I always learn new techniques and find a lot of new toys to make my sewing more fun. I meet new people and have a great time hearing about their creations.

  36. I attended the marketplace only last year in Schaumburg. I will be investigating the classes for this year. Winning some would be so thrilling! I love to learn new things and seeing them demonstrated in a class is so much better than reading a pattern!
I am glad this show is coming back once again, thanks!

  37. I have attended the expo before and found it exceptional. I would like to take a quilting class and a slack fitting class this year. I started quilting as a way to improve my brain function from a concussion and am finding it profitable. I appreciate the location and am very much looking forward to attending.
