  1. How nice it would be to attend this expo. I”ve never been to one, but plan to this year.

  2. Wow! Can”t wait until the Original Quilting and Sewing Expo gets to Lakeland. They have so many wonderful classes to take and the shopping is fabulous. Just wish I could take more classes, but time only allows so many hands on and some of the classes that I would like to take are in the same time slot as another that I want. It is always difficult making up my mind which class to take. Last year my husband evan took me to the Atlanta show so I could take more classes.

  3. I plan my “Spring Break” around the Lakeland Original Sewing and Quilt Expo. I think that this is a wonderful expo at a wonderful site in Florida. I learn so much from going and I sure do hope that I can win so I can take more classes!!!!!
    Can”t wait.

  4. I have been to the Expo in Lakeland the last two years. It has been great but I have yet to be able to take any of the classes. I am planning a trip there this year and it would be great to take some classes! ❤

  5. I always love Debby”s classes! I have learned so much from the Gee”s Bend quilt class, the Lone Star class, and the machine quilting for beginners. Debby is competent, fun, and so approachable! Looking forward to another class or two this year!

  6. Can”t wait for the expo! What a great “girls” weekend we had last year. Debby”s class was great!

  7. Love, Love, LOVE the Expo! Can hardly wait for it to start! So many things to see and experience! Would love to win this giveaway!

  8. I would looooveee to win this giveaway. I am a young quilter/sewer and my goal is to make quilting and sewing more cool for the younger crowd!

  9. Couldn”t make it last year, but did the 2011 and I raved about it to all my friends back home in upstate New York. I”ll be there this year and would love to take a class. This is the best show ever!

  10. What a super experience the Lakeland Expo is! I found brand new batiks and turned them into a gorgeous quilt with fast and easy techniques. I saw some really gorgeous jackets made in one of the classes from scraps and have put that on my “to do” list, and the fashion shows have kept me in the well-dressed list all year. On top of the whole three days of info. was the cheerful camaraderie. It was really a wonderful time. I wish I could go this year.

  11. Got TWO new Janome machines to keep myself busy in my retirement bliss … have sewn my whole life including having my own custom made clothing business … decided to take up quilting and found another wonderful sewing world … and then came embroidery … and I fell in love … so the last two years I have been taking many classes to learn this new craft … discovered the “shows” and “seminars” and lots of shopping … went to the Original Sewing & Quilt show in Lakeland, FL in 2011 … stayed overnight three days and gorged on information and shopped till I dropped and took a few classes to learn new ways to sew … went again in 2012 and booked myself solid with classes from morning till night … and shopped till I dropped again … and since I believe you can never get too much education, I am headed to the show again this year …

  12. I can”t think if a better way to repay my wife for putting up with me than perhaps winning her this package. She demonstrates her passion and love for quilting every day.

  45. As a Snowbird from Indiana I have been attending this Expo since it was in Clearwater. The Expo is the highlight of my time in FL. I have enjoyed the classes, in fact, each year as I start though the list I say to myself, “I am not going to take so many classes” and I end up taking the maximum. Don”t get to see all the free stage demo. The Expo is a great place to get lost in a material world.

    • My girlfriend Kae is from Indiana also, maybe you two might know each other, see you at the Expo.

  46. “Sew” excited for this adventure! All of the classes look wonderful, but I”m looking forward to the “make-and-take” classes to be able to put what I”m learning into action! LOVE showing off my projects when I get home!

The Expo is also a great place to invite family and friends who have the same interest, and also make new friends. I would encourage anyone who is interested in sewing to attend.
